 Understanding Partial Month Charges

Have you recently added a new Bright House Networks  service to your account?  If so,  you may be a little confused by your first Bright House statement after making these changes.   We'd like to help clear up any uncertainty.

Let's first explore the detail listed under Account Detail on your statement. At Bright House Networks,  we bill for services one month in advance. In the event you changed your service options during the middle of your billing cycle, you will see adjustments on your current bill for that change in service, This may cause you to see multiple entries listed for a service.

For example, let's assume you are a Digital Cable customer and one week prior to the end of your billing cycle, you added High Speed Internet & Digital Phone to your service, upgrading to the  Triple Play. Remember, Bright House offers the  Triple Play so that you will see significant savings when you combine services over what these same services would cost individually.

So under Account Detail, you will see a charge for the  current services for your next month of service and, in addition, a charge for the  High Speed Internet & Digital Phone for the time period that you upgraded your service until the end of your billing cycle.  You should be able to see the different dates listed out from each charge to help you follow the timeline.

Since we had previously billed you for your Digital Cable service, your bill will now reflect a credit for that service. This process takes place any time you upgrade or change your current Bright House Networks services, even with multiple services like the  Triple Play.  Remember, Bright House Networks wants you to start taking advantage of any savings right away, but also bills for its services in advance.

Your first statement after upgrading your services will generally be higher than expected due to the partial month billing for current service and a full month billing of your future service.Providing your service levels remain the same for the next month, everything should be squared away and significant savings due to your Digital Combo or Digital Combo Plus package should be seen on your next bill.
