Parental Control
Digital Cable provides you with Parental Control so you can restrict viewing of certain channels, ratings, and programs during certain time periods. For more information on Parental Control, go to http://www.controlyourTV.org.
When you tune to a channel and Parental Control is activated for that item, a screen appears informing you that the channel or program is blocked. Only those household members who know the blocking PIN can bypass this screen and view blocked channels or programs.
To set up Parental Control, perform these steps:
- Specify which channels, ratings, and times you want to block.
- Activate parental control and enter your blocking PIN (The default PIN is 0000.). If you do not activate parental control, all channels, ratings and times are available to all household members.
