Digital Phone Calling Features

  • Repeat Dialing *66: Allows a Customer to have their last outbound call automatically redialed when their first attempt reaches a busy number by pressing (*66). The system will monitor the busy line the customer has called for 30 minutes.

  • Call Return *69: Automatic Recall - Call Return allows a Customer to hear the number of the last incoming call and then automatically connect to that number by dialing (*69).

  • Digital Phone Online Tools: Bright House Networks Digital Phone Voice Mail Customers can now manage their voice mail through the internet from anywhere. The new Digital Phone Online Tools allows customers to check their voice mails, reset their pin, choose language settings, and much more directly through the internet.

  • Second Line: Get a second phone line with your Bright House Networks Digital Phone service for one low monthly cost. Two lines with seperate Voice Mail Boxes, perfect for roommates and families with teenages tying up the phone line.

  • Three-Way Calling: Three-Way Calling allows you to add a third party to an existing conversation without operator assistance. This feature is available to Digital Phone customers at no extra cost!

  • E911: E911 service is active for all customers when Digital Phone is installed. It enables an emergency dispatcher to automatically identify your name, phone number and address when you dial 911.
     
  • Voice Mail: Never miss a call again. Voice mail records messages from callers who call when you are not available. Check your Voice Mail away from home by dialing (317) 810-9050 or (765) 206-8000).

  • Caller ID: See who's calling before you answer the phone. When you receive a call, the name and telephone number of the person calling is shown on your phone's Caller ID display screen.

  • Call Waiting: If you are on the phone when another caller is trying to reach you, you'll hear a beep or special tone to notify you that you are receiving another call.

  • Call Waiting ID: Combines Caller ID and Call Waiting features. A special tone alerts you to a waiting call and you also receive a visual display of the name and number of the person calling on your Caller ID display.
  • Call Forwarding: Forward or re-direct your phone calls to an alternate phone number and never miss a call. Please note: If calls are forwarded to International numbers, long distance charges will apply. If calls are forwarded to a cell phone, any minutes or charges will be applied against the cell phone's wireless plan. 
  • Speed Dial: Allows you to program frequently dialed numbers so you can dial using just one digit.

  • Anonymous Call Rejection: By activating this feature, you can block unidentified calls for as long as you choose. Incoming calls from unidentified callers, including those identified as Anonymous or Unavailable are automatically rejected. Unidentified callers will hear an announcement telling them to hang up, make their Caller ID information available and then redial the number.


  • Caller ID On TV: Subscribers of both Digital Phone and Digital Cable are now able to see who is calling right on their TV! Caller ID on TV saves up to the last 10 callers.

  • Star (*) Codes: Activate additional features, such as (*67) for Caller ID and (*98) for Voice Mail. Learn More about this feature.
